Original Language Synopsis
The urban landscape, dense, overloaded with images and sounds in constant motion, sometimes leaves a space for artistic expression.
Kulcsar Vajda Enikő, a Hungarian dancer and choreographer who lives and works in Budapest, with a solid team of collaborators from the world of dance and video, is now who takes the pulse of the city.
Their project Városi Sziv (City Heart) aims to go beyond the boundaries of conventional contemporary dance and gets closer to ordinary people. Perhaps what makes City Heart different from other artistic expressions in the same line is that Enikő and her dancers don’t merely danced in public spaces, but with a lovely naturalness they identified themselves with the space around them, empathizing with the urban context, the light and colors of the street, pedestrians, traffic, and thousands of sounds that come and go fleetingly.
