Dr. Nofar Yakovi-Gan Or is a lecturer at Sapir Academic College, School of Law.
Her research and teaching areas include Law & Reproduction, Health Law, Health & Technology, Family Law, Gender, and Bioethics.
Dr. Yakovi-Gan Or earned her doctoral and master's degrees at Columbia University Law School, where she was an E. David Fischman Scholar. Her dissertation examines the regulatory challenges posed by the emergence of various assisted reproductive technologies in both Israel and the U.S. She also holds an LL.B. from Tel Aviv University Faculty of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from Tel Aviv University Faculty of Social Sciences (Magna Cum Laude).
Dr. Yakovi-Gan Or served as a postdoctoral fellow at the Hebrew University Faculty of Law and Haifa University Faculty of Law, and as a Visiting Scholar at the Helen Diller Institute for Jewish Law and Israel Studies at UC Berkeley Faculty of Law. She also clerked for Justice (ret.) Edna Arbel at the Israeli Supreme Court.
