
ד"ר שני דליות הינה מרצה וחוקרת במחלקה לתקשורת במכללה האקדמית ספיר. מחקריה מתמקדים בהיבטים פסיכולוגיים וחברתיים של השימוש בטכנולוגיות תקשורת, בדגש על השלכותיהן על יחסי הורים-ילדים. היא חוקרת את אתגרי ההורות בעידן הדיגיטלי, תוך התמקדות בתיווך טכנולוגי ועמדות של הורים ביחס לחדירת המדיה לתא המשפחתי.
בנוסף, ד"ר דליות עוסקת בחקר השפעות הניטור הדיגיטלי במקומות עבודה על תחושות אמון ומחויבות ארגונית. מחקריה מתבססים על מתודולוגיות איכותניות המשלבות תצפיות וראיונות עומק.
ד"ר דליות מלמדת מחקר איכותני במחלקה למשאבי אנוש ושותפה במרכז למחקר איכותני באוניברסיטת בן-גוריון, שם שימשה כרכזת אקדמית במשך שלוש שנים.
משנת 2020 מרכזת את תחום הלמידה החדשנית והדיגיטלית במרכז לקידום ההוראה בספיר, אחראית על פיתוח סדנאות לסגל האקדמי, ליווי מרצים בתהליכי חדשנות פדגוגית, וקידום שיתופי פעולה בין האקדמיה לתעשייה
Dr. Shani Dalyot is a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Communication at Sapir Academic College. Her research focuses on the psychological and social aspects of communication technologies, emphasizing their impact on parent-child relationships. She investigates parenting challenges in the digital era, concentrating on technological mediation and parental attitudes toward media infiltration in the family unit.
Additionally, Dr. Dalyot studies the effects of digital monitoring in workplaces on trust and organizational commitment. Her research employs qualitative methodologies combining observations and in-depth interviews.
Dr. Dalyot teaches qualitative research methods in the Department of Human Resource Management and is affiliated with the Center for Qualitative Research at Ben-Gurion University, where she served as Academic Coordinator for three years.
Since 2020, she has led innovative and digital learning initiatives at Sapir's Center for Teaching Enhancement, responsible for developing faculty workshops, guiding instructors through pedagogical innovation processes, and promoting collaborations between academia and industry.
