Dr. Shirley Druker Shוtrit serves as Director of Special Projects at the Research Authority of Sapir Academic College. She also serves as an academic advisor and is part of the development team for the "Young at Sapir" program. She teaches writing courses as well as numerous courses in the field of rhetoric (debate, foundations of persuasion, introduction to rhetoric, and others). Her research focuses on media-mediated communication through the Google Maps platform, representations of peripheral spaces, minorities in media, youth uses of new media, and violence against young women.
