Dr. Boaz Segal


Dr. Boaz Segal completed his direct Ph.D. at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2016. His research and teaching focus on tort law, administrative law, regulatory law, the state in private law, and regulatory negligence. He has published globally on these topics. His academic journey has centered on tort law, public authority liability, and regulatory negligence. He has focused on how these legal frameworks can promote economic efficiency, justice, and accountability. Over the past decade, he has explored the intersection of tort law and administrative law, developing new insights into how these legal regimes interact to shape public policy and institutional behavior. Dr. Segal is also an accomplished author, with three novels: "A Woman and Four Lands" (2007), "Love in Law" (2021), and "Libi Reads a Horoscope" (2025), blending his passions for literature and law.
