Dr. Nurit Gal-Oz

I am a senior lecturer in the department of computer science at Sapir Academic college, serving as the department chair since 2014. I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science at Ben-Gurion University. My research interests include Trust and Reputation systems, Privacy, Security, and Data mining with special focus on role mining. Prior to my Ph.D. studies I headed the R&D of several companies in the software industry in various domains including timetabling solutions, business intelligence and distributed web-based applications. I have worked as a research assistant in the Deutche telecom Laboratories at Ben-Gurion University while pursuing my Ph.D. degree and during my postdoctoral appointment. I serve as a co-vice chair of IFIP WG 11.11- Trust Management Work group since 2015.
